No donuts at the Channon markets today
but we had waffles
not just any waffle

these are dutch waffles made purportedly with imported beet sugar - either Belgium or dutch we are not quite sure

But these were awesome

Deep indendtations in the waffles allowed the accoutrements to be used to their full advantage.

Waffles with big crevices, lemon banana cream and a god damn fine coffee
