reflections

I have really loved living in this house

the red door is the best

There are a few little things that annoy me but I think in the end now where is perfect and you learn to live with those small things.

it is so cold I am sitting on heater - PO

The one thing I am really excited about in the new house is the dishwasher - and I will tell you all now if it doesn't work I am going out and getting a new one straight away!!!!!  I am sure the first thing I will show you is the dishwasher.

i am just hiding on couch- Tom

When we went looking for the new car last year it was all about the cup holder -and to tell you the truth the car doesn't really live up to it's purchase directive.  The cup holders are not the best really.  So I am saying right now if the dishwasher doesn't wash dishes it will be sacked and a replacement hired in.  I said that already didn't I.

I was completely trashed at the end of yesterday - packing sorting moving things around,  today I am taking it easy and resting a bit.  We have booked final inspections, key pickups and cleaners.  With the old house I have sorted out the painter, the plumber and met the real estate agent - getting sorted there too.  The guys who we rent from gave us the big table in the kitchen - which we are really stoked about - knitters all you must come over and have more knitting around the table in the new house!!!

I am currently in the middle of a funk with my knitting - so I am looking not back but forward.  I purchased some shetland yarn from Reccie on the de-stash and part of this will become Kate Davies Neep Heid, you will need to scroll down the page past Manu which is on the needles and slowly progressing.  I also succumbed to some 5ply Madelinetosh which at this moment is destined to become Goodale, but I reserve the right to change my knitter's mind in the future if the wool decides to be something else.

yummy yummy

trying to decide on colourways...

Today is Bell's birthday - so go over and wish her a very happy #Bellsday.

To everyone off to Bendigo for the wool festival I hope you all have a fantastic time and cuddle lots of fleece bearing animals - meet lots of like minded fibre nuts and have a great time.

Tip of the day - check out the label of the post

Might this be your 900th post, by any chance?? Heh heh!

Moving house is (usually) always a bit sad - I loved our old house too, but love the new one even more. And I sacked the new house dishwasher before we even moved in (it just looked crappy!). So glad I did. Love love love the dishwasher!

Now that I have properly reflected...

I'm a little sad that I didn't get to say goodbye to your little house! It was very cute. By the time we get back, you'll be settled in to your new place.

Best of luck with the move!

Can't wait to see the new place. I dream of a dishwasher. And a kitchen that you can move in. And a walk in pantry.

Lovely post Fee, yes I know what you mean about being sad about the house, I was too recently when we left which was completely unexpected. Ditto on the dishwasher!!

I have such fond memories of that house!

Glad the Knitters' (and Eaters') tabel goes with you! And looking forward to seeing pics of your dishwasher, I shall never have one as C does not approve (and I don't care enough to argue!) Of course, you two never stop cooking... I hope we'll be like that again when we have a proper kitchen.

We bought a dishwasher online before we moved in here. Collected it from warehouse the day after move. DIL could not imagine life without one and frankly, I agreed with her having had one for many years.

Dishwashers Rule Miss Fee, it saved my marriage. Some people say its just storage for dirty dishes but out of sight, out of sight! xxB

As far as I am concerned, the dishwasher is one of the best inventions ever! Pity I won't see you at Bendi.

here's to a smooth transition from abode to abode - and that dishwasher better bloody work first crack!

sorry to not be seeing you at Bendigo, hopefully next year we can wrangle both you and RoseRed down?!

The cupholders really are key, aren't they? I do love a good cupholder in a car. I have actually built some for myself with the ones included were insufficient.

Dishwasher - I can live without. I haven't had one for four years.

Love the yarn!

Congrats on your 900th post. I stuck you in my reader a little while ago and I can't remember what particular thing it was that lead me to you. I've enjoyed what I have read so far though :)
