My darling friend Gracie came to visit today and we had a bit of fun.
On the left is the concept sketch, the figure the model and on the right a drawing of the figure complete.
I am fascinated by the tentative nature of the first drawing - it speaks of the uncertainty of the make ahead, trying to represent the material and not the figure itself. Which by the final drawing is realised.
