Carbon neutral cooking
I did some baking yesterday.
It is a orange cake which is
-Wheat and gluten free
-the baking powder is aluminum free
-Diary free
-and I have bought carbon credits to offset the pollution created to make the energy that baked the cake.
There is a bake off at work tomorrow and although the top of the cake is a bit browner (no not burnt) that it should be it does taste great.
I baked two, hence the twelve eggs, and took the other one to cake and champers arvo tea at South Golden beach yesterday. Next time the thought is to substitute the oranges for red grapefruit - wonder if that will work?
I will let you know how it goes. The competition is quite fierce.
