I sent my niece two books this week - Charlotte's web and a book of Spike Milligan's poetry for little peeps.
I received an email the day she received them saying that she had already them. I thought she had read them previous to me sending them. No she read them both the day she had received them!!!!!
Six is her age and she has the reading bug that has hit our family real hard.

Charlotte's Web was the first book that ever made me cry. I can remember reading the last few chapters one more morning before going to school, and SOBBING when Charlotte died and all the babies flew away and Wilbur was all alone except for the last three. It was my first favorite book.
