I have a skirt already in the shape ( see above - a large waistband and a-line)but I am not quite sure how to go about drafting a pattern - I spend a while today at Spotlight trying to find the perfect pattern to no avail.
Do I take an outline of the skirt and add seam allowance?
I do have quite a bit a sewing know how - but I have never drafted a pattern before.
Hint? Pitfalls for young players?
