We started watching NYPD Blue from the beginning the other week. Still on the first series it has been amazing to watch how TV shows have changed in the past 10-15 years. One thing that makes this show stand out from even shows on TV today is the quality of the writing.
The characters are flawed human and likable. The story arcs are layered and complex and very engaging. We watched one about road rage last night and I am sure apart from the clothes and hair styles it would translate to now.
