one time.. at knitting camp......

I knitted, wore a coconut bra and won the fancy dress comp, dyed some yarn, ran down and up a rather large mountain, ate, drank and suffered a fair bit the next day. Lots of photos over on Kris's blog and more from Donna

It was so much fun the camp organisers were wonderful and their gorgeous assistant Tina made it even more so, the highlight was when Tina was handing out balls of yarn for smiles during the trivia night.

I was able to catch up again with some of my favorite knitters, Donna, Ailsa, LynS, KMS(would you believe I worked on a film she wrote way back when A Permanent End), RoseRed, Lee, Margarita, Ness and Jodie. Mary-Helen and Sandra came up for the Saturday too.

And met up with some knitters after stalking their blogs for ages Jejune's, Bells and Gemma

Everyone was so welcoming and delightful.

But as I read through my blog reader this morning I did wish for the company of Emily up there as well - and would love to chat to her about the fantastic knitting she has going on - perhaps we could arrange a virtual knit-in somehow?

I was great though to get home to the Sock Victim and the kittens - who are all now twittering!

Meeting you was one of my favourite highlights Miss Fee. I wonder if you know how much time I spent staring at your pi shawl draped over your shoulders? I simply can't forget it!

It was wonderful to meet you, too, and find out we knew each other in our distant studenty pasts as well!
