My darling friend Gracie came to visit today and we had a bit of fun.
On the left is the concept sketch, the figure the model and on the right a drawing of the figure complete.
I am fascinated by the tentative nature of the first drawing - it speaks of the uncertainty of the make ahead, trying to represent the material and not the figure itself. Which by the final drawing is realised.

The drawings really make the photo, too.
That's fabulous and I bet she felt a real sense of accomplishment by planning, executing and reviewing. I see a big corporate future for her!
