Finished Items

Finally I have blocked my Olatz shawl - after 3 attempts and here it is in all of its glory.  This was a test knit of the written pattern - and I have to say I much prefer charts - it was really good exercise for me and a great pattern

Yarn - The Sanguine Gryphon  Skinny Buga
Colour way  - Cow killer

needle size - 3.5mm

Then there is Rosamund - inspired by the Tangled Yarns knitalong - a whole month behind everyone else I managed this in just about 2 weeks, thank you long weekend.

Yarn - Cascade 220 grey - from that wonderful shop in Bathurst
Needles - 4mm and 5mm
Buttons - Button shop Nurses walk in the rocks

now to wear it......

The Rosamund is even more beautiful finished than it was while you were knitting it. Love those cables.

that is really nice, I love the cable pattern up the front and around the neckline.

oh, they are both *beautiful*!

I especially love that shawl pattern (charts are just the only way to knit lace, am I right?)
