naughty me - time to amend
the red is possum bought at the craft show last year and a Manu in thought only at this stage - but inspired by Donna I have knitted and blocked a swatch
the black is my Percy and I am up to the 8th pattern repeat of the first chart

well i spy some lovely regia sock yarn, but i cant guess the shawl pattern, it looks gorgeous. and what will the red be? oh the red....
Thanks drk for asking the questions I wanted to ask and Fee for answering them. Well,, I knew about the 'Percy', but the others were a mystery. Make the Manu, Fee. I think it would look great on you and it's such an innovative pattern.
The black is beautiful! I MUST make myself something black and lacy soon.
go the stripey socks! I'm so pleased. As for sock mojo, would you believe I have no sock mojo? In a year, I've only made plain socks because they are something to knit when on public transport or at the pub. I've lost all inclination for patterned socks. Still, this means my plain sock production is good.
