One of my favorite jobs was designing the last series of Mr Squiggle in 1999.

Norman was a wonderful man and such a delight to work with.

I was privileged to go into his workshop and it was fully to the roof with puppets.

the tip of his nose was an oil crayon and Norman really did draw upside down Miss Jane....

Oh! I didn't know! I loved Mr Squiggle - I thought the drawings were so clever, making things out of squiggles, upside or sideways.
And of course I always use Blackboard's voice to say "hurry up!".
If only the episodes were available on DVD...lovely Mr Squiggle, and Miss Jane, and Rocket and Bill the Steamshovel.

Fee That is truly sad.
Mr Squiggle was a fantastic experience as kids (and even as adults).
I loved Mr Squiggle, the man from the moon. So many memories.
I used to love watching Mr. Squiggle. So sad to hear another childhood legend has disappeared.
What sad news. Mr Sqiggle was a very dear show to me. I hope that I can one day share it with my children. How lucky are you to have been to the workshop!!
