Doing, done and dusted - with glitter
Today is Grace's 5th Birthday and I made her the Barbie cake again. This time I was prepared and borrowed the correct tin- although first cake was a fail as it didn't cook long enough and when I took it out of the tin it pooped all over the kitchen bench.
What a week!!!
Work has been full on - lots and lots on at the moment.
I finished to current sock club socks in time to pick out another bag today - still trying to decide what to knit - these will be #15 for the Sock Victim
Finally finished my St Petersburg after hibernating over most of last winter and summer.
Started a swirly hat
Started a scarf for a friend who has a rather significant birthday in a month - I am glad I started as I have 11 repeats to do and whizzed through 1.5 last night - so this shouldn't be too hard a task.. Oh and it is cashmere so divine divine to knit with. As it is white I will need to keep my hands clean when I knit it.
Slow progress on the vest - currently I am knitting up the back, I am now wanting this to be over and Sock Victim keeps eyeing it off now that it is cold and hinting how good a vest would be.
And here is Po in the pot snoozing, wish I could too.....
Phew now off to make myself pretty for the party - sorry no links etc - but I did update my rav list - so link from the side for more details.

Miss Fee - I kind of LOVE that Barbie cake. I would like to put in an order for one for my birthday next year. :)
LOVE the cake. And I LOVE the St Petersburg. Haven't seen that before so must go and find it.
Wow you have been busy! Love the cake.
very nice cake! I did a barbie one last year I think and only used the upper body, Nienna pulled it out after candles and freaked at the legless doll LOL
You are a much better cake decorator than I am though and put me to shame :)
I am exhausted after our party
I have to admit, even though it is so very pink, the Barbie cake is TOPS!! You did a great job decorating it!
Love the lovely knitting too.
Wow - so productive! Love the St Petersburg.
