Tagged and tested

Tagged and tested is a term we use at work all the time, regarding electrical appliances for use in the studio - just to clarify that this is not really testing me but perhaps you the reader with my wool skewed response

What is your current obsession?
Collecting wool. I must stop as it is getting a bit out of hand. I am obsessed with the destash thread over at Ravelry (which is beyond an obsession), and the craft fair did not help either - see forthcoming question re wool acquired.

Also scarves and shawls and 4ply and socks.........

What are you wearing today?
Leggings, stripy dress, Le slouch and ribbon lace scarf - and a bought woollen cardigan

What's for dinner?
Left over chicken with tarragon dumplings I made last night - a variation of a weight watchers recipe

What did you eat for your last meal?
Eumindi smoke house ham with spicy greens and mustard on a brown roll - followed by rhubarb cake

What's the last thing you bought?
Yarn from the craft fair and then two knitting books from the bargain basement book shop

I am guilty your honour too much wool not enough time

What are you listening to right now?
the kittens going in and out of the cat door

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
in bed, with knitting and an audio book

Which language do you want to learn?
Danish to read blogs and patterns

What do you love most about where you currently live?
the garden and the train track - love the sound of the freight trains

What is your favorite colour?
and I not good with just one as I love a clash
black, grey, red, pink and orange - all together

What is your favorite piece of clothing in your own wardrobe?
my black campers - the choice of about 6

What were you doing ten years ago?
living in Darlinghurst - getting ready to celebrate my last big birthday - working as an Art Director on Flat Chat at Strickland house, oh and passing a kidney stone - that bit was the not fun bit

Describe your personal style?
Kooky, bohemian and eclectic

If you had $300 now, what would you spend it on?
wool and truffles(not the chocolate ones)

What are you going to do after this?
off to the oseto - too much knitting on the weekend

What are your favorite films?
Blade runner, The Draftsman's Contract, True Blood - series, The Hudsucker Proxy and Sweeney Todd

What inspires you?
Blogs, children, my friends, the sock victim, every day

Norah Gaughan, Ysolda Teague, Veronik Avery, Elizabeth Zimmermann and the knitters in the various groups I belong to.

Taking care of the soul by Thomas Moore,

Do you collect anything?
does wool count - and knitting books, cooking books and more wool

What makes you follow a blog?
the person and the images

What was the most enjoyable thing you did today?
I ran for the first time in ages and it was good

Whats one thing you dream of doing?
designing and colouring in

Should have introduced you to my boyfriend at WWKIP (he was there for like 5 seconds before he scuttled off). He perhaps could have given you some pointers in Danish. I'm trying the one minute Danish podcast thing but its a bit hard. But then reading it is another thing entirely!!
