So two days off from work and as many projects finished.

I managed to knit one of these socks in 24hours - as I cast on reading the pattern for 6 ply wool and had to unpick last night.

Audrey just needs buttons - I have them but just need to sew them on

I love the sleeve construction - it really is fantastic and one I am going to use as much as possible from now on

Project details

Audrey in Ultimo - I have now moved work but she stays the name of my old job(rav link)
Pattern - Audrey in Unst by Shetland Trader
Yarn - Wollmeise 100% only 2 skeins
Size - as documented at length over here
Needles - 3.25, 3.5 and 3.75mm

Project details

Cooks River - (rav link)
Pattern - Kalajoki by Tiina Seppälä
Yarn - BFL socks - 1 skein
Size - for my thankfully tiny feet
Needles - magic loop 2.25mm

The second sock took 24 hours - but the first took 2 months - I blame the new job

Po was getting in on the photo act today - loving that we are around for lots and lots of cuddles

Well done Fee - I have done about 2 rows of a sock. The family have mostly left. We are now relaxing in front of the cricket (with much swearing).

Gorgeous FOs! I have similar problems with buttons. I'll wait MONTHS to actually sew them on.
